Inspired by the delicious, fresh, fortified Muscats of the Southern Rhône like Muscat-de-Beaumes-de-Venise, it has a delightful flowery, muscaty/honeyed bouquet. Harvested, ripe, at 28° brix and fortified to arrest fermentation with our own high-proof Muscat brandy made from grapes harvested earlier in the season and distilled for us by St. George Spirits. We age this wine for ten months in both neutral French oak barrels and small stainless steel tanks.
